For the third year running, Intech organized its famous "Clean up day" in collaboration with the Project Rescue Ocean association. Each of the sites contributed to the project in its own way, organizing litter picks on beaches and in towns. The aim of these waste collection days is to clean up natural and urban areas, thus helping to preserve biodiversity that has already been degraded by man.
A big thank you to all the Intechers who took time out of their busy schedules to take part in Clean Up Day!
Rang-du-Fliers
At head office, the Clean Up took place in the Authie Bay. This area is not spared from pollution: between the dunes polluted by visitors and the bay collecting all the excrement from the sea, our Intechers had their work cut out for them. After sharing a convivial moment over breakfast, it was on Saturday September 9, from 10am to 12:30pm, under a blazing sun, that the bay was cleaned up, with the help of members of the Association des Chasseurs Maritimes de l'Authie Nord. Well done!
Toulon
At the Toulon site, our Intechers held their Clean Up Day on September 16. The weather was grey and windy, but that didn't discourage them and they had a great time. They collected almost 30 kilos of garbage on the beach Les Pesquiers in Hyères! A very good result for our Intechers, but a very sad one indeed...
Saint-Soupplets
September 16 was also Saint-Soupplets' collection day. For their part, they decided to clean up the town of Saint-Soupplets itself. Our Sulpician Intechers picked up the garbage in sunshine and good spirits, before enjoying an aperitif!
The result: 11 kilos of waste! Well done to them!
Athens
Our Athens site also contributed to Clean Up Day by cleaning up the factory and surrounding area. Many thanks to them!
Kenosha
Just like in Athens, a small group of Intechers got motivated to clean up the factory and surrounding area in Kenosha! Many thanks to all!
Memphis
The Memphis office also lent itself to the Clean up day game. They teamed up with a local organization and helped them clean up Memphis' T.O. Fuller Park. Well done to them!
Penang
Intech Penang closed the ball on Clean Up Day 2023 by cleaning up Butterworth's Robina Ecopark on the morning of Saturday November 4. Afterwards, the Intechers present gathered around a picnic to enjoy a good time together. Thanks to them for their investment!
See you next year!
